Justice Tarot Meaning (Major Arcana Card)
Justice: This card shows a female holding the scales in one hand and a sword in the other hand. This card is not as decorated as any of the other major arcana cards, as it has a very simple message to relay about justice and fairness.
The female in this card is judging with honesty and fairness. This card represents the hopes and fears balanced against morals and is the first of the moral lessons cards (the others are the hermit, strength and temperance).
This card has legal implications too.
Justice General Meaning
The Justice card advises you to look at the way you are behaving and ask yourself if you are being fair and just in your dealings with people. If the answer is "not always" then you have an opportunity to bring yourself peace of mind by changing the way you treat people. The card is a reminder that all wrongs are righted in the end so you might as well do this while you can. If you are concerned that you are being unfairly treated, do not worry: the balance will eventually be redressed.
